Parisian Street Style Inspired

A French braid is what inspired this look. I wanted to fit the part. So here is my best Parisian street style look! Of course I chose black and red and a white frilly skirt. The black top is actually my dance leotard! (Look at me exposing all my secrets!)

Another secret is that I really need this book. Like…really need.
xoxo and bonjour!

Monday Morning

I feel bad for Monday. People just love to hate it. What is it all about? It's a new beginning, a blank slate, and a second chance. It's a day to become who you really want to be. On this Monday morning, I drank coffee out of my French bike cup and took a spin around my neighborhood on my pink bike. It was great! Let's start using Mondays as an excuse to live and not an excuse to have a bad day.

Hanky Panky

My obsession with vintage florals isn't a secret. So when I found a gold mine of floral hankies (each only $2), my heart skipped a beat and my brain immediately got to work. "Tie together the corners", my brain said to me. And just like that, my floral banner idea came to me. Keep your eyes peeled for these floral darlings!

Quick Art: Image Transfer (Expert Status)

All you need is a block of wood, your image or quote (make sure to flip any text before printing), gel medium, a handy dandy sponge brush, and access to water and a rag. Now listen up! Follow the above picture-steps. Let the future masterpiece sit for 24 hours. Then wet a rag and gently scrub off the paper residue. Apply another coat of gel medium to protect and seal it. Add any doodles your heart desires. And just like that, you've made a lasting art piece that is a reflection of you. Happy crafting!

A Dream is a Wish

Before school started, I had a strong urge to create something that I could one day hang in my imaginary loft apartment. I decided to go to Joann's fabric and explore. I found a doily, and immediately thought of a dream catcher. This is a simple and fun project that costs about $20 and can be a piece of art for any wall space!
